Client: Nicola Salgado Education, Educational Consultant facilitating British boarding school placements

Target Audience: Affluent parents of teens (13-18 years) who want to send their children to study overseas.

Tone: Sophisticated, professional, warm, supportive.

Challenge: The objective is to persuade families that it’s a good idea to send their children to the UK to study, and that this is the best person to support them through this process.

Solution:  I focused on appealing to parents’ desire to feel confident in their children’s safety and wellbeing as they access the best possible educational opportunities. To that end, I crafted copy that balances sophistication with warmth, so parents can trust this is a professional who has their child’s best interests at heart.

Bell and Sons, Web Page for Booking a Suit Appointment

Client: Bell and Sons (UK traditional menswear shop).

Service: Personal Suit Appointment.

Target Audience: There are 3 distinct audiences:

  1. Grooms aged 25-50 who have their wedding coming up.

  2. Male high school students aged 15-16 who have their prom coming up.

  3. Men aged 30-70 who require a suit for another occasion such as work or a formal dinner.

Tone: Friendly, Knowledgeable, Casual-Professional.

Challenge: The objective was to increase the number of suit appointment bookings in order to ultimately increase suit sales.

Solution:  The copy appeals to the deep benefit of looking good and feeling confident at your important event. The bullet points highlight the features of the suit appointment that achieve this benefit.

I chose to include 3 further sub-sections targeted to those with a wedding, prom, or other occasion coming up. This enabled me to focus on the benefits to each specific target audience.
